I received a phone call on the 16th, the day of check in. The lady that called said that they had closed the motel permanently and would not be able to accommodate me. Thankfully I was able to book a room elsewhere. I do need Expedia to call them so that I can be refunded my money 100%.

The cabin was lovely. Very quiet, spacious and the bed was comfortable. The only suggestion for future stays would be to bring ing utensils and plates if you are choosing to eat in the cabin. We were in cabin 30 and actually entered the cabin in the evening when it was dark, and it was hard to tell where our cabin was located. The cabinet itself was comfortable and quiet and we would definitely stay there again.

One of the only reasons I picked this place is cause they have a hot tub and sauna on site all of which were down for maintenance" . I was super disappointed but other then that is was pleasant.

The place was cute, the room was clean and the staff at the café was excellent. I would definitely stay here again. There are options to tent camp or set up an RV or rent little cabins so many options. We stayed in the converted motel section and one thing to be aware of is that the bathroom is tiny and the layout is not conducive to tall or larger individuals. The sink sits over the toilet and there is zero counter space in the bathroom. We stayed in a room that can sleep three people, but I would say it is small for two. Also, there was a resort fee that was applied, but was not disclosed in the Expedia booking. The fee is to be able to rent outdoor equipment and gear, which is part of the brand, but not what we were looking for or made aware of.

At one point, this place was probably as nice as the pictures—but that must’ve been a while ago. There were different stains throughout the walls and baseboards, vents dirty, and overall it just didn’t feel as clean or welcoming as the photos made it look. If you’re someone who doesn’t really care about quality or the little details in where you stay, this might be the right place for you. For me, it wasn’t. I ended up cutting my trip short and moved to the South Bay Inn just two minutes up the road, and immediately felt more at peace with the cleanliness and modern rooms—everything I was hoping Loge would be but ultimately wasn’t.

Loved our stay at LOGE in Westport! The room was amazing, comfortable beds, the bathroom was especially nice with double sinks, and a great huge walkin shower! My son loved the hammock in the front room. The souvenir items were a great surprise too!! Can't wait to come back again with our adult children and granddaughter next time. Will stay longer and try out the bikes!!
