Our third stay in the last 6 months and it's as good as ever. Wonderful staff who are so welcoming to our pup. Great breakfast as usual and able to take it in the drawing room so we can have the dog with us. Wife made more use of the health suite and pool this time and found it excellent. First class and we will be back the next time we are staying in the area

Stayed for one night and had a great stay. Room was huge, very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Bathroom was very modern, our only complaint being there was only a shower, no bath. Breakfast was superb especially as the had fresh kippers, a real treat. Overall a really memorable experience.

The property is a little out of town but great for a quiet stay. Our room was perfect, large comfortable king bed in a spacious room with a fantastic shower! The bar was a great area to relax. We didn’t try breakfast but ate dinner and the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend for a quiet stay or getaway.

Had an amazing couple of nights here, the staff were the most friendly bunch of folk, the food in the Blair restaurant was absolutely astonishing and the spa and pool centre were fantastic

I keep going back

I always pick this hotel for my Aberdeen trips. Probably 3 weeks per year. It just feels comfortable for me. The bar food is good and there is a resturant too. The gym and pool are great for my needs on a work trip too. The nice peaceful location adds to the appeal and an evening walk in the summer is good.

Room shower excellent and 4star. Entrance: floor tiles dirty - scrub up or replace. Fire not burning on arrival. Put fire on all day and eve. Reception: view to back area showing and a mess. Close door! Sofa in corridor - dirty and hole in. Replace sofa immediately. Room: upgrade with up to date electrics, put in pod coffee machine. Leisure centre - dirty and broken. Explain locker operation, dirty changing room floor - clean but don’t allow outdoor shoes in it. Steam room - broken steam vents coming off fixing. Replace immediately. Update eating areas - all areas very tired and some ceilings showing marks of damp.

Lovely stay at the Ardoe

My mum and I had a lovely stay at Ardoe! Our room was great, and we enjoyed drinks in the drawing room; the bartender was brilliant. Our meal was also fantastic, highly recommend treating yourself in their restaurant although they do also have bar meals. The only downside is that the swimming pool hosts so many lessons and also seems to attract a lot of local families, so we didn't have many opportunities to use the pool. We had to get up really early to use it before lessons started, but facilities are nice and the sauna is excellent. I recommend checking the schedule on arrival so you can plan around it.

Lovely hotel with great facilities. Only minor issue was that there was no cot in the room and there wasn’t much effort made to get one so we had to improvise. The high chairs in the restaurant were also not great.
