Hotel is nice but no heating system, it was so cold that they had to bring 3 heaters in the room for me and my baby to be warm. The people are hospitable, went over and above for my family to be warm and comfy

I use this hotel often, had a problem with the standard double room, but after talking with receotion they upgraded me for £10 to an excecutive foubke. Breakfast as usual was very nice.

The hotel was nice and quiet, in a good location for what I wanted to do. Staff were pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable. I'd definitely look to stay here again.

We arrived on a late train and just needed a room for the night so for that, it was fine. Great location, late check-in and really helpful staff. But the room itself was in the unrenovated part of the hotel and very very tired, including signs on the bathroom door to warn about the sloping floor. Also as we were on the 4th floor there is only a lift to the 3rd then quite a few (grand) stairs to the 4th. Our very helpful check-in guy carried our luggage up these, and it was as well he came as it was quite a hard room to find. I would imagine the renovated rooms are nicer! Having said this it was clean and had a good hot shower, with the added bomus of being simple to use. If i was staying for a pleasure break I'd have been really disappointed but despite the dated decor this was fine for what we needed, a place to sleep and a shower.
