Loved the property. Extended our stay and will definitely be back. Lots of deer outside. Elevator worked, pool work, nice room, clean, no loud building, everything was nice.

Bottom line - very nice apartment-like hotel in Ocean Shores. Walkable to the beach although the beach is not close enough to really sit out and watch the waves. We were on the top floor and could see the ocean, but it is circa half a mile away behind the grassy dunes. Nonetheless, this is an excellent hotel with a really good price. The hotel is actually individually owned condos, but it is managed like a hotel in terms of check in and your stay. Kind and helpful staff. We stayed in a large two bedroom which was very clean and well kept up, although the furniture is a bit dated. This did not affect our enjoyment or comfort. Parking is easy. The best part of the hotel might have been the heated pool and hot tub. Very nicely maintained and mostly we had them to ourselves. It is a bit difficult to walk to restaurants or shops given limited sidewalks near the hotel, but everything in the town is a short drive away. We found some nice restaurants and shops in the town, and we really enjoyed that you can drive onto the beach. We went in the fall/midweek, and there were no crowds. Lovely area to get away from city life and really enjoy this quiet ocean town. Recommended.

Very glad we chose the Cantebury. Biggest reason to stay is they allow pets. Dogs like to go on vacation too. They take extra care to make sure the furnies are welcome. Close to the beach, just a small walk. We will stay again.

This was our second time staying at this property. We came back because the first stay was wonderful. The staff was friendly, the room lovely with perfect amenities and cozy and quiet. I am giving it 2 stars because We were very disappointed when we came back just a month later - the hotel staff apparently called the police on our car which was already documented in Checkin as staying there . We were right outside our room and had a terrible misunderstanding with the police. Unfortunately because of this we won’t be coming back- it’s a shame bec otherwise it was an amazing place.

We loved The Canterbury Inn! The staff was so friendly. We had our dachshund with us and they provided special pet towels, blankets and sheets which was a great touch. The unit we stayed in had it's own private balcony facing the ocean. The unit had a small kitchen with a mini fridge, cooktop, microwave along with everything you'd need to cook. The weather was awful, so stormy, windy and rainy which definitely had an affect on the TV channels but you can't control the weather. They have a nice selection of DVDs in the lobby you can watch though (for a fee). We will definitely be staying here again!

This was our second time staying here. Although we did not have a pet, we stayed in a dof friendly room. Other than the adorable extras for pets, you wouldn't know dogs were allowed. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Super friendly staff and great pool. We loved the awesome Halloween decorations and great dining nearby. Room was a little dated but very clean and great to have a kitchenette. Highly recommended!
