Loved the fitness facilities and pool at this hotel. The room was great, bedding, comfortable linens, clean, also very clean bathroom. Based on our complementary breakfast at other village locations, we were disappointed that breakfast was not included. Staff was great, the hotel was a great stop over on our way out of Aberdeen heading towards Inverness.

Very nice

The beds/ pillows were so super comfy!! Best nights sleep in terms of comfort!!! All the staff were very friendly and informative. They all took time to interact with my very chatty 10 year old daughter and answered her questions with enthusiasm. The food was all delicious although my daughter was a bit gutted they didnt have nutella for her special breakfast but she is extremely fussy. There was definitely plenty other options though. At dinner my cookie dessert was cold but i didnt mention it as i couldnt remember if it specified to be hot or not but if not it would be alot tastier if it was heated. The whippy ice cream was amazing. Due to the cookie already being cold it was also a bit hard. Not bad enough to leave any of it though. It was quite a noisy hotel. Doors slamming at 10pm and thumping sounds. Not the hotels fault and didnt bother us once we got to sleep but did mean it took my daughter a bit of time to settle as she kept jumping at the noise. Nice area to have a post dinner walk and a wee football thing to play with inside the hotel. Lots of seating if you didnt want to go straight up to your room. Starbucks on site which was nice as well. The pool was lovely and again the staff on the desk were very nice and helpful. This was a very nice hotel and we will certainly be back.

On arrival , advised I had to pay £5 to park . This was not indicated . The room is so large, but no dressing table or anything to put a small case on . At 6.00 am the gym classes obviously started so woken with the best , pounding away . I will not be coming back

Avoid Room 125 if you like your sleep!

I don’t usually leave reviews but feel I gave to for this stay. Hotel was clean & tidy. Restaurant the same, service was quick and food hot and tasty. The bedroom was spacious, large shower, comfy bed however the chair would not raise in height, so was too low to use sat the desk area. When I checked in, no mention of the room being above the Gym was made and I could hear every beat of the music, every word of encouragement from the instructor below! I enquired with the staff at the gym and was told the classes stopped at 7pm, which they did. However, at 10pm someone was moving equipment about, noisily! This eventually stopped. But the same happened again at 5:30am, with music being played at 6am!! When I checked out and said something about maybe warning people who have room 125, the receptionist said “ahh yes” but never offered an apology!

1. Air conditioning (cooling) was very poor. It was very hot in the room. 2. The light in the bathroom was not sufficient.It was difficult to shave without cutting yourself. 3.The entry for the shower in the tub was very high, there was a chance of slipping 4. The room was not cleaned properly even when requested 5. No drinking water in the room. No fridge, no safe in the room 6. Front desk staff was friendly 7. There was no liquid body soap in the bottle. Realised only after I had wet myself. No hair conditioner

The Village Hotel Aberdeen, was a great place to stay while visiting the area. It's location is close enough to Aberdeen to get to the city quickly, but also close to local highways that allow easy travel to other areas.
