Smells like urine
This hotel has the potential to be very nice, but isn’t being kept up. The biggest issue we had is the bedroom had a very overwhelming urine smell…the bathroom isn’t even in the bedroom. It was awful. Of course, the hotel was full so there was no other room to move.

Horrible experience!!
This was the worst hotel ever. Nothing like the picyures or reviews on hotels.com. First time purchasing a hotel by a third pary and will never do it again. The hotel did not habe breakfast like it said, it was dirty, the the person stepped in. I went to the room, turned around and went back to the front desk desk to turn back in my key. The front desk guy was not surprised at all. Do not stay at the Candlewood Suites in Abilene Texas.
