You definitely get what you pay for with this hotel.
There was mold ALL over the bathroom ceiling - at first I didn't notice it because I thought the ceiling was patterned but upon closer look I realized it was mold.
I noticed there was a door to an adjoining room in my room with no deadbolt on it. I asked the person at the front desk if I could please change rooms as I was a female traveling solo and it would make me feel safer to have a room without this adjoining door. The person actually laughed at me and said "why is this a problem". I explained my concerns and they continued to tell me it wasn't an issue and I couldn't switch rooms. Not because they didn't have any other rooms available, but because they thought I didn't need to. This was extremely unsettling to me. I ended up choosing to barricade furniture in front of the adjoining door during my stay just so I could feel safer.
The key card I was given would get erased at least once a day, meaning every day (sometimes multiple times a day) I had to go back down to the front desk for them to recalibrate the card. The same person who laughed at me for wanting to switch rooms raised their voice with me after the fourth or so time I had to recalibrate my card and asked what I was doing to make this happen. Mind you, I saw numerous other guests also asking for the same thing so it clearly was an issue with the cards. The front desk staff still said it was my fault.
