Tranquil stay between Elounda and Agios Nicholas
Lovely hotel set above street level so little noise especially around the beautiful pool area. Breakfasts were amazing in form of help yourself buffet. We didn’t eat there at night but apparently very good restaurant. We can preferred to go into Agios Nicholas in the evening where there is a bustling night life but also went to Olga’s a couple of times just a very short walk from the hotel. Good base for visiting this part of Crete. The air conditioning was essential as temperatures were high but it wasn’t as quiet as other hotels’ aircon at night.

The hotel was close to the center of the city, 5 minute walk to the beach, the room was small but satisfactory, a nice breakfast, friendly staff and service. Nice view of the sea, In the process of upgrading the property.

Very nice hotel /very friendly and efficient staff
Very good stay indeed The hotel is overlooking the sea, the view is just breathtaking ! We were in a room that was not 100% matching our expectations so we could arrange a change of room for the next day. The staff is really very nice and efficient. The buffet breakfast is very very nice indeed. We can only recommend this place in the warmest possible way.

High price in relation to value for money
Hotel staff try to provide good service but it is necessary to improve the maintenance of the hotel. We took a room with a shared pool and a view of the garden (not to the sea) and the pool was in a very dilapidated state of maintenance, it was not possible to use a pool at all. The paint at the bottom of the pool peeled off and the water was full of insects. The room was missing a lot of things, there was not even an electric kettle to make coffee. The hotel has a good restaurant that is open at all hours of the day until a relatively late hour and with good prices (actually the coffee cost relatively expensive). The hotel is close to the city of Agios Nicholas so we chose it, but later we saw that there are many better options nearby.

Un mauvais choix
Chambre double supérieure avec vue sur 15 unités d’air conditionné et un poteau électrique géant. Le lendemain on nous propose une double standard mais cette fois c’est la climatisation qui ne fonctionne pas (effet ventilateur). Le troisième jour toujours pas de climatisation. Nous sommes partis vers Chania dans un établissement avec tout confort. Salle de bain ridiculement minuscule et lumières dans la chambre. Un bref passage au Meliti à oublier vite.

Der einzigartige Ausblick und die Gestaltung der oberen Zimmer mit Pool und der eigenen Terrasse haben uns sehr gefallen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das gute Frühstücksbuffet mit dem tollen Ausblick auf die Bucht haben wir genossen. Die Lage des Hotels ist etwas außerhalb und ein Auto somit empfehlenswert.

Un lieu de vacances très bien
Très bel établissement proche de Agios Nikolaos en voiture. Magnifique vue depuis la terrasse du restaurant et de la piscine. Grande piscine avec transats à l'ombre des oliviers. Petits déjeuners et diners (demi pension) de très bonne qualité avec des mets variés, bons et raffinés. Service irréprochable. Chambre confortable, excepté la salle de bain minuscule. Un grand plaisir !

We will come back!
Highly recommended! Great service, great variety at the delicious breakfast, great people and great property at all. We are completely satisfied with our choice to accommodate at Meliti Hotel and for sure, once we will be back in Lasithi, it will be our option. Just 8 min by car from Agios Nikolaos city center and from Elounda n Plaka villages, it has a great location in the middle of those two spots with beautiful sea view at the gulf!
