Safe, Good service, close to the Taj Mahal
I stayed here 2 nights while visiting the Taj Mahal and other heritage sites. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food at the restaurant was pretty good, and my stay included breakfast (a buffet served on the bottom floor next to the in-hotel handcrafts shop). My only complaint is that the bathroom and touch surfaces in my room could have been a bit cleaner. Luckily I travel with disinfecting wipes and was able to touch up as needed. My room was on the floor under the lobby, which I thought strange at first, but then I realized how dark and quiet it was for sleeping. It was so perfect. The best thing about this hotel is the location, just 500 meters from the East gate of the Taj Mahal, on a pedestrian friendly road. I felt very comfortable walking to the Taj in time for sunrise from here as a solo female traveler.

I chose Taj Resorts because I was looking for somewhere really close to visit the Taj Mahal on a short layover in India. The hotel location is brilliant, just a 5 / 10 minute walk to the wold wonder. Really nice staff, great restaurants and comfortable rooms.

You won't find a better affordable hotel as close to the Taj Mahal. The staff, especially at the front desk, work so well under stressful circumstances. All in all, a great operation!
