Hotel Plaza location is good, very close to the Taj Mahal, which was our reason for the 1 night stay. Their rooftop bar and restaurant was really good, we had a nice dinner with live music. We didn't like our room, bathroom was outdated and disgusting, bathroom looked like museum piece, all rusty, couldn't see your face. Room size was good, cleanness was ok but bedding looked old and bed was uncomfortable. Ok for overnight stay, especially if your main reason is to visit Taj Mahal. Thanks

The hotel is old & smells stuffy. Some areas like lobby & rooms are fine but bathrooms are outdated & old. Looks like some portions are renovated or painted but other areas are neglected & brings the hotel down. The gym is outdated & in poor condition. The breakfast buffet was good.

The hotel was nice. We stayed in a family room and asked for an extra pillow for my daughter who was on a fold away bed and they said they could not give us one, we had to use one from the bed in the room. This was disappointing as all the other hotels we had stayed in previously on this trip had been accommodating with this. The shower facilities were very good - nice and hot at all times of the day. Breakfast was nice and had a range of foods to choose from. Overall, a good stay.

Great Hotel
For what you pay this is a very nice hotel with friendly staff in a quiet (ish) area of Agra. Near enough all the highlights including the Taj. If you are looking for a mid range hotel in Agra we would definitely recommend coming here.

Nice quiet room near Taj Mahal
Nice quiet room overlooking the swimming pool. Comfortable bed and spacious room. The hotel was a short (Rs 50) auto ride from the restaurants and cafes in Taj Ganj from which you can walk to any of the Taj Mahal’s gates. Only negative points were that about half the machines and the air con in the gym were broken.

A good deep clean to make the world of difference
The hotel was generally clean apart from the pool and spa area that looked a little dirty in places (on walls, around light switches). Dusting had clearly not been done under chairs in the main lobby and there was noticed clutter in the stairwells. The rooms were ok, beds softer than usual. There was sometimes a noise in the ceiling that sounded like a football was being bounced which kept me awake for a while but on inspection I couldn’t work out where it was coming from. The food we had was very good and prices were reasonable. We always had good service and when frequently asked for more water for the room we were never declined. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and overall it was a pleasant stay.

Hotel took booking for smoking room... Did not provide any. Made some foolish statement of non-smoking property which i could not find written anywhere. Staff has tendency or may be target for billing so took me on ransom to pay for non-worthy restaurant. Really .... find some place else !
