Had to wait for a staff member to show up at front desk to check in. Not well trained and thought Ontario was a town. Very hard to understand person. The breakfast staff were very friendly and very attentive to keeping area clean and fully stocked.

Very clean. My bf is a stickler when it comes to hotel rooms. He goes straight to the ac/heating unit and cleans the filters. He was extremely surprised they were spotless. Usually they are filthy and full of lint. Everything else was great too. Not a hair to be found!!! Beds comfy and plenty of lighting.

Although this is a budget hotel, you wouldn't know it by the beds. The beds were more comfortable than those in most of the upscale hotels I've stayed in. If I were coming back to the Akron area, I'd choose this hotel for the beds alone. But then there's the pool. It doesn't look like much. A concrete rectangle. But it is so warm! When it is cold outside, the last thing I want is to go into an icy indoor pool. Even my son, who has sensory issues due to his autism, went right into the pool without his usual 5 minute gradual entry down the stairs. On top of all this, every staff member I met was friendly and helpful. I tend to be very critical of places I stay in, so I've never given a budget hotel a 5 star rating before, but this hotel has earned it.
