Checked into the hotel at 12:00am due to a cross-country flight for a family funeral. Entered the room where it was 92 degrees based on the temperature on the thermostat. Asked the night auditor for a new room but none were available. Spoke with Orbitz (booked while driving in from the airport) and they spoke with the property. Over a week later, still waiting for that refund from the property. The night auditor was rude and said the room was "fine" and would "cool off" despite the air conditioning not working. We tried for 10-15 minutes to get cold air and it only blew hot air. Property did nothing to either accommodate or help us. Understand they were booked but the attitude and failure to promptly refund the money is unacceptable. Cannot believe either the cleaning crew or maintenance weren't aware of the HVAC issue in that room. Funny thing is, other family members who booked there, left the next day because the beds were so uncomfortable. Terrible.
