It was my first time out of the country! I loved the experience, staff was super nice wish they spoke more english as some staff had a hard time trying to figure out certain words. It wasnt that big of a problem as i understand going to a different country with a different main language will be hard. Overall would definitely recommend it to friends and family or go again.

We loved our stay at the Grand Oasis! I find it hard to believe some of the negative reviews I've read about this place. Our room was brand new and spotless. It was extremely spacious and the decor and lighting were very well chosen. The shower was amazing. The food at the resort is a real strong selling point - we loved the mexican a la carte, and maki taco was also great. Buffets can often be a weak point, but we found this one to be really high quality! Service was amazing across the board, with a special mention to the staff at the kids club who were really lovely, professional, and caring. Our daughter loved going. If I were pressed to find one negative thing to say, and this is very minor, some of the older photos show more stuff for kids in the pool, which seems to have been removed in recent years. (Slides, structures, etc.) Overall, for us, this place gets full marks - we would love to return and stay here again.

The toilet was broken and after requesting it to be fixed, it had not been fixed before we left The room also smelled like gas from the sewer We were surprised by the various levels of amenities that were not included in our stay There was a tier system that we were unaware of and therefore could not use all the amenities in the resort
