One Time Stay

Stayed one night while visiting White Sands National Park. Restaurants nearby. No traffic noise. Good for one night. Did not have breakfast at motel, so can't comment. Would recommend for one night.

There are few excellent mom and pop motels these days, but this is one of them. The owners have been giving this place TLC for over 45 years. It’s exceptionally clean, the bed was new and very comfortable, and being able to park outside my door is something I really like. If you like a quality experience with a nostalgic feel, this is the place! BTW, the nearby food options are walkable and varied as fast food and fine dining.

A place to avoid

The place was almost empty- only 3 or 4 people staying in the motel. I can see why. Very run down. Absolutely horrible king sized bed that should have been retired many years ago. Room was boiling hot since the wall AC unit had not been running. It took nearly 4 hours for the room to cool down to a tolerable extent. Room fridge was just slightly cool

The staff member at check-in was kind and efficient. The building was older but well kept up and clean. Basic breakfast (cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels, etc.) was good. Plus, they had sleds and wax that we could borrow for our trip to White Sands National Park.
