New Property in the Capital Area
Chose this hotel on our trip east to Maine because of its easy access to the highway & for being pet friendly. Was pleasantly surprised upon arrival to see a bright, new property and be greeted by friendly staff. Rooms were spacious and had all the necessities you need. We missed breakfast 😴 but there was a large area for it. Next door to a Dunkin and convenience store which was a plus 👍

This is a gem! We got in later than we expected but had no trouble getting our room. The lobby is beautiful with lots of windows and plenty of light. Comfortable bed, ample water pressure and hot water in the shower and spacious room. Breakfast was terrific and delicious on the second floor overlooking the sunlit lobby. We would stay here again anytime.

I felt overal, it was very clean. The check in staff were average, not unfriendly, but close. Some tile was falling off the bathroom wall and the bathroom door wouldn't shut because the tile floor was too buckled. Otherwise, it was "OK". We won't be staying there again. The value for the price wasn't there.

We stayed here for one night on our way back to Boston at the end of a road trip. It’s really conveniently situated just off the i90. As the hotel is out of town there’s not much nearby apart from a petrol station. The staff we met were friendly and efficient and our room was clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is small but a decent place to relax after a day in the car. Breakfast was just okay and the dining area is bright and clean.

Hidden surprises and not in a good way.
The room was quiet and fairly clean. The problem was the carpets desperately need to be ripped out and replaced. When we opened the door to our first floor, pet friendly room the smell was overwhelming. The room smelled of mildew and mold. Luckily we were able to open a window to air it out otherwise I would not have been able to stay in the room. I instantly had a headache upon entering the room but with the window open it was much better. Unfortunately there was no screen in the window. When we went to sleep we left it open about a half an inch and with the breeze it was okay. The other thing was the toilet in the bathroom. It is extremely low and hard to get up from if you have a bad knee etc. The other thing that was dismaying was when I booked the room there was no mention of an additional pet fee to the posted price on Hotels. It was only upon checking in was I made aware there was an additional $50 fee for each pet. They also put an additional $50 fee for “incidentals. So I was charged an additional $100 to the posted room fee. I thought I was saving money by staying at The Comfort Inn but I didn’t. For what I paid I could have stayed at the much nicer Hampton Inn up the road. Lesson learned, I won’t stay here again.
