We came in really late on a really bad weather night. I'd gotten the reservation first, and when we walked in looking all ragged and worn from a long day at the hospital, the staff were fast, kind, and as accommodating as they could be.
I later called to see if they had any chargers for my iPhone because I didn't want to miss a call from the hospital, and unfortunately, they didn't have any. I would've gladly paid $25 for one if they had, but instead, I had no choice but to go out in the worst weather ever and find a convenience store. I wound up not only having to drive in scary weather but paid $20 for one down the road.
I know Hiltons are supposed to be upper scale than other chains, and for the most part I would agree. But to have a 'convenience' area, to post plaques in the rooms saying if we forgot anything it would be complimentary, and then not have phone chargers? Even if there were mag-safe ones in each room, or if we had to pay a deposit to borrow one... would've meant the world to me that day.
