Room was very clean. Breakfast was average. Mislead by their parking claim. They had me park in a parking garage owned by the city which was $21 over night. The hotel charged an additional $15 for parking as well. Im not sure what for. They have no parking of their own. So it was $36 just to park the car ovrrnight. In hindsight, i would have never booked the room.

Good location

Good location. Bartender was having “an off night” was not very friendly or attentive potentially due to having to perform cooking and serving. While I understand, sometimes you fake it. The parking for this hotel is in a garage about a five minute walk in a garage but very inexpensive about 15 a night.

The hotel is situated around two really cool places, a brewery and pub! The worst aspect of this hotel is the parking. One has to park in the Quackenbush parking garage and constantly get a ticket validated or pay with CC. Why the hotel doesn’t offer a parking lot for hotel guests is silly.

Our room was clean and quiet and we were lucky enough to get a view of the city. It was within walking distance of the downtown areas. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

I can’t say anything bad about this property. It is clean and efficient but it was not my favorite. Probably because of the layout. You drive around back to a lot which you can’t park in because it says permit parking. But that’s confusing because people were obviously parking there who were staying at the hotel. So we parked hesitantly for the moment to check in. And then you go in and it’s not the lobby. The lobby is on the second floor. So a little out of the ordinary. And the lobby desk is small. But that’s ok. The staff person there was fine. A bit reserved. (Not so at check out when another older man was quite helpful, but that was when leaving). We asked on check in about the parking situation. There is public parking outdoors. I suppose it wasn’t clearly explained but we were encouraged to take the underground parking added to our bill which lets you come and go. It may have been more expensive but I am not sure and we didn’t need to come and go. But that left me feeling like I wasn’t fully apprised. But still ok. The room itself was on the small side but incredibly clean and the shower was large and well appointed. Full ironing board even. TV feed was a bit in and out. Digital reception might have been off. But again ok. We weren’t in the room long. Breakfast next day was well done. Lovely orange slice water and lime slice water in lobby. I suppose if we didn’t have the close comparison of a hotel upstate the weekend before I might have thought differently.

Nice property, a short walk from the riverfront and close to restaurants and bars. Paid parking which unfortunately can be complicated to access. Room was nicely appointed and spacious. Very comfortable bed. Water saver shower head takes some getting used to. A brewery is immediately next door with a wide selection. However the food there is not worth it.
