Was unable to control the thermostat. Room couldn't get above 64 degrees. Walls very thin, could hear neighbors. Surrounding area was run down. But the room was clean and easily accessible to Downtown Albany.

Large number of gnats in the bathroom. Very old and outdated. Very limited breakfast with only eggs and no breakfast meat due to a sign saying it was kosher. Should have that in description. Area around hotel near highway, not safe to go walking around outside.

Room was clean and comfortable. Lobby area and surrounding areas inside and outside were not ideal. No comfortable chairs of workspaces near the lobby. The hotel was under capacity in the middle of the week and asked for a room time extension to stay so that I could come back after speaking at the Capital Center. Gave me an hour but my presentation started at the time of the extension. having stayed at other properties, staying until 2:00 was never a problem.

Conveniently located right off the highway. Rooms were spacious, little couch, king bed, refrigerator and microwave. Lobby and parking lot adequate. Within walking distance of restaurants. Free breakfast was just fine; the usual quick breakfast food. We would stay here again as the price was right.
