Had a very good stay. The breakfast was a highlight for one of our group; Ray at the front desk was very good about extra linens and noting a maintenance issue. The 3rd-floor room window was slightly open when we entered and struggled to get it to latch, but succeeded and they said maintenance would get on it. They were quite obliging with a late check-out request and some other things. We were completely happy with our experience.

Hotel property is clean but in a sketchy area. Don’t recommend walking around. Hotel is a few miles away from old town and on the other side of the highway, despite how it’s marketed. Not walkable.

Staff excellent. Very helpful with questions about local attractions and were always professional. Complimentary water available at the front desk. Great! Staff at Breakfast very attentive to what was available and ensured all options were available throughout breakfast. Continuous cleaning as well. Would suggest a power exhaust fan for the room we stayed in for steam build-up during showers. Roving security vehicle gave an extra sense of security even though we never felt that there was a security issue.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express
This hotel was nice. It’s located in central Albuquerque, close to a lot of museums and Latino and Native American cultural activities. I used it as a base for house-hunting in the Albuquerque area, but it’s a nice place for tourists, too.

The staff is very helpful and the room is better than we expected. They are very considering for the balloon festival to move the breakfast early starting at 5pm, not like the previous hotel Tru Hilton we checked in.
