First time to Albuquerque… this was just a one night spot on a family road trip. Everything was great I think maybe the city of Albuquerque is struggling to deal with homelessness and drug use. We walked over to Walgreens and it was sketchy someone was being kicked out while another person was stealing. I’m from Portland so this is normal where I’m from… unfortunately but the hotel was great.

When they cleaned our room at the day after we checked in, they did not replenish any washcloths or hand towels, etc. and I called down to the desk to say there’s three of us. We’re trying to get ready for an event. He said oh they ran out, but he’ll make note And we never had anything new even till check out the next day. Also, somebody upstairs was stomping and stomping and stomping, nonstop, walking and stomping until 1 AM so that wasn’t great wasn’t quiet no towels, etc. no follow up so not great.

The room was very spacious, we had the 2 queen suite. The beds were comfortable, The sofa bed was not made, we were given linens when we checked in, though no pillows. I did state that we needed a room for three people. The rooms were very clean, the bathroom also. Enough towels and washothes for everyone. The breakfast had a variety of food. Scrambled eggs and egg white omelets. Turkey sausage and bacon. Bagels and English muffins were avaliable, along with coffee, bottled water, orange and cranberry juice.

Old mattress!!!!

Everything was great except the bed. Those mattresses are too old. I didn’t get any rest. I am not sure why they would keep mattresses that are old to the point that you feel and hear the springs on the mattress when you move!

Impressed that the manager realized a problem with the pull out bed before we arrived and offered us an adjoining room so we had enough beds. Nice breakfast with pancake machine, hot items, cereal and other options.

Staff was very friendly. My only issue was the hotel had an unpleasant smell at times. The hallways, elevators, our room had a pet smell and the bathroom a mildew smell. Everything was very clean just odd smells
