Laboratory hot water cold. Toilet slow & not complete flush. Leaked water on floor. Desk notified. Immediately said they would see about it. We returned from supper and it seemed to work. Early AM entered bathroom and floor covered in water. After cleaning up water manager notified. Given access to another room one floor down for bathroom use. Assured we would be refunded for our stay. When this is done I would increase my rating to a 3. The bed was great and room quiet.

We booked for a non smoking room but were assigned a smoking room. The person at the front desk said all non smoking rooms were full due to a system error. He offered us a discount on our next stay but the room was dirty with broken towel racks and broken coffee machine. Never going back there again.

The breakfast had extremely limited items, one waffle maker despite 20ish people waiting to make a waffle. We left and ate on the road. Our door handle was broken when we arrived but there were no other non-smoking rooms and we had to pay an upgrade fee to get a non smoking room. Breakfast staff was short and only one worker was there to try and keep up despite two owners being at the desk that could have stepped in and helped. When we turned in the room keys and asked for a receipt we were told “Expedia” will send one. I do not like staying in Albuquerque because of crime and the homeless population. There is a fence, security guard and a lot cop recording devices near the parking lot.

The smell of the room was terrible the reason I cannot have options was because my late arrival and the person on charge told me is nothing else available. Breakfast was limited an unavailable before the time frame.

If you do stay here do not stay on the ground floor. Can be noisy. My room was full of mosquitos during my stay. Some staff was nice, some was not. Area surrounding is not somewhere to walk around.

Overall we were happy with our stay. Only real complaint we have is there was too much chlorine in the hot tub. Twenty seconds in the hot tub felt like a chemical bath so we didn't get to enjoy that amenity. Otherwise, Quality Inn made a great base camp while we were in town for Balloon Fiesta.

I was unable to do any computer work as the internet kept going down to 1 bar and then disconnecting. The TV's remote did not have a guide and the channels were not listed anywhere.

I really appreciated the Manager’s assurance of my safety. When I saw many many vagrants on the street where the hotel is, I was concerned. He assured me there was a security guard that is there walking the lot. This helped me feel safe. Super quiet rooms, very clean, and friendly staff. The breakfast was tasty and a large variety of food. I recommend this hotel. Thank you.

Scary location
Hotel is great, staff was very nice. Area is scary. Lots of street kids being destructive. Staff wanted us to park on the street outside of gate, said it would be fine. Flak jacketed security moved his vehicle so we could park our pick up and trailer in front of the door . Security in the morning said every window would have been broken in the morning if we had parked on the street. Did not see any police presence.

Front desk/gentleman was amazing. Excellent customer service. We were in the process of a move and he allows me to park my moving truck in the front, assured me he’d keep an eye on it with security. Completely unexpected but generous and very kind of him. If you’ve driven through that area you’d understand. 5 stars for customer service and kindness.

Area was not good, room carpet was stained, had woke up to ants everywhere. Staff was nice. Didn’t stay long enough to check out breakfast. Felt very unsafe. Not a great area at all.
