Expensive but quiet and great restaurant and bar.

The price was on the expensive side! However, the front desk staff, quiet atmosphere, air conditioning, location, bellhop service, restaurant, bar, bedsheets, and mattress were all excellent. I’d love to give the hotel five stars, but the room’s carpet was worn, the wood on top of the desk was peeling, and the bathroom felt outdated. I would stay again—but next time, I’d look around for a discount coupon first.

This hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. The carpets are worn and stained, the air conditioner didn’t cool, the television would not open up the “guide” function so that cable channels were available, the hair dryer did not heat up - only blew cold air, and the decor is dated. Nice people who tried hard to make the stay pleasant but the hotel shows hard use.

Worth staying, but be aware

The hotel is lovely, as you arrive and are in the main area. The staff is very friendly, helpful, concerned for your well being. The rooms are spacious and upgraded. Perfect for a business traveler or family that doesn’t enjoy sitting on the bed to watch tv or eat. Speaking of eating, the complimentary breakfast was expansive and actually pretty good despite being included in the price of the room. Re the room…again, very spacious. The hotel did quite a bit of updating with the decor, lighting, bedding, etc but the bones are tired. The hvac was loud, the plumbing was off (altho the water got hot, very hot, pretty quickly). The couch was literally missing a back cushion. The pool appeared to be nice but I didn’t use it. The parking lot was well lit. Hilton appears committed to this hotel, for now. If I were a business traveler or traveling with kids, I would definitely consider this hotel again, but would go in to it knowing it isn’t perfect but trying hard.

Comfortable room without a view…

Perhaps the hotel was full, but we arrived just after 4pm and were given a room on the second floor overlooking the roof - quite possibly one of the worst rooms in the hotel. The good points are: 1. The receptionist was nice and efficient; 2. The room is certainly quiet; 3. The shower is great; 4. The in room safe works well; and 5. The complimentary water is a nice touch. The bad points are: 1. The carpet was wet in one spot (not a large enough spot to make us move rooms after we’d unpacked before noting the wet area); 2. The carpet is quite spotted in places, especially the door sill into the bathroom; 3. Room location overlooking the roof.
