I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, I must say I would not return. My experience was marred by several issues that left me quite disappointed. Upon arrival, I encountered a rude receptionist (cool double nose rings if you want to identify her) who rushed through her instructions so quickly that I barely caught more than half of what she said. First impressions matter, and this one was certainly lacking. The quality of the room was another major letdown. While the bedding was comfortable, the air conditioning was subpar, making it difficult to enjoy a pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, the bathroom was in dire need of repairs; the shower head was missing all but one nozzle, which was quite inconvenient. I also had an unpleasant experience at the bar on Thursday night. The male bartender, who had long hair and wore sunglasses, was rude, prompting me to leave without even placing an order. Thankfully, the bartenders on Friday night were a stark contrast, providing top-notch service that was much appreciated. On a positive note, Ty, one of the staff members, tried his best to address our complaints and ensured that our shower was fixed. His effort was commendable amidst the overall lack of service quality. I was genuinely surprised that such an expensive and well-located hotel was so poorly managed and maintained. This was my second visit, and there will not be a third. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously to improve future guest satisfaction.

Ordered room service (Breakfast) I orderd oatmeal, toast and orange juice. First of all i only receive a fork and knife to eat with. NO SPOON. There was no plastic covering my oatmeal and toast. So the meal was cold. The oatmeat was thick and cold.

My favorite hotel in ABQ. Clean and well managed. I have stayed here many times. This stay was the first time staying on the 2nd floor. Ice machine wasn’t working on this floor or the next floor that the out of order sign directed me to. Also there was a bright street light right outside the window and the curtains were not heavy enough to block the light adequately.

Where can I get some ice?

Construction/rennovation underway in upper stories. Epic search for a bucket of ice. Started on 11th Fl, no ice; elevator to 10th Fl, no ice; elevator to 12th floor, no icedecided to walk to next floor via stairs, ALL exit doors locked (Fire Code) with no exit til reaching the underground parking floor below lobby; then a search for an elevator going up, finally found one at an insurance company, took it to lobby: went to front desk and asked for ice. Nice man brought me my bucket full, took elevator back to Room on 11th Fl. By then I needed a drink!

I had a really bad experience at my last stay at the Clyde. No hot water available at night! had a very cold shower at 9 PM. It was awful. I sent a message to the hotel and they shrugged. The room I stayed in was in bad bad shape. I have previously stayed in a nice room. It was very clean and felt almost luxurious. The room I stayed this time was on floor 8 and it was horrible. I am really disappointed the hotel did nothing about my cold shower. The room was not cheap.

Nice lobby, convenient location

We liked having a drink in the lobby with the live piano player, the convenient location and free covered parking. The rooms don’t seem like they’ve been updated as recently as the lobby and bar. We would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay …. Easily walkable. We were surprised by Old Town it was quite something! Room clean and comfortable… breakfast service good. Only downside the Reception staff could have been more professional.
