Great arrival then grumpy departure

Our initial reception was outstanding with Danny the valet and the receptionist!!! The room was spacious and comfortable with a plate of delicacies waiting for us. Leaving this morning was grumpiest. We had to twice asked to have the valet come to get the car then he disappeared with helping

the receptionist Samantha was wonderful!!! We shared we were there for medical reasons and she sent us the most delicious desserts and the care given by her was above and beyond kind. If we go back to abquerque we are staying there because of her!

The Clyde is a beautiful hotel in downtown and is close to public transportation. The shuttle to Sawmill unfortunately only runs from 4-7 each day so you either have to drive or take public transportation. The train to Santa Fe was very clean and comfortable but we didn’t feel safe to ride the free city buses in the evening due to the number of homeless with clear mental health issues around the area and bus stops. We had a car but were never able to get out of the garage connected to the hotel using our key - security had to get us out our final day as it wouldn’t take our Amex either to pay to get out even though we paid $22/day for parking. The hotel restaurant is open until 2 and is very good. The bar takes over at night and can say the Prime Rib French dip and their apple pie were some of the best I’ve ever had. Lush Cafe is an also a must for those looking for early morning coffee and a great breakfast just three blocks down from the hotel. I would stay again, but better plan for my visit to Sawmill to align with the shuttle times as that was the one place we never went.

We have been using the Clyde for several years valet is great rooms were good has a great coffee selection tv options were very nice. Some bonehead stopped makeup by the 5th floor elevator but aside from that very nice
