This is an old motel and probably in need of a bit of renovation BUT don’t discount it. Staff are lovely, the rooms clean and the sheets good quality. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is clean and has everything you need. Also appreciated is that there are mugs, not cups. It’s not glamorous but it is good value. I have stayed several times and would do so again.

Great motel for the price. Room had great facilities, the bed was comfortable enough, bathroom good, parking is tight but handy. Manager was lovely and great that it included a continental brekky (cereal + toast). Would definitely stay here again ☺️

This motel is close to the railway station but is also quiet. It is clean and comfortable and with a free continental breakfast included- great value.

There is everything to like about the Clifton Motel, while it is a classic fifties style of motel from that time in the fifties, the presentation was first class! There were a few minor wear and tear items, but the minor shortcomings were paled into insignificance by the beautiful, clean, comfortable accommodation offered! All topped off by friendly, helpful staff, great place to stay. ten out of ten and, all for a modest tariff. Richard Martin, Yarra Junction.

The only problem we encountered is the parking. Narrow area for parking in the front units and then turning around to be able to drive out onto the street. Small vehicles are probably ok but larger vehicles have difficulties.
