Interesting… very unique check-in process with a gentleman - suspected to be the manager - that seems to have a perfect grasp of English other than a complete lack of understanding of the need for courtesy words in a hospitality transaction.

Friendly staff. Convenient, walkable location. Tasty breakfast. Recently updated rooms. Definitely needed AC in the summer or a fan - it was hot. At least the windows opened. It was manageable at night but miserable later afternoon / evening granted it was the height of summer.

Independence Matters

Everything you would hope and expect an Independent hotel would be. - great spaces - breakfast team worked like unintrusive clock work (Team 🇹🇭 👍 👌) - friendly and helpful reception staff - great furnishings and artwork - relaxed - perhaps not for you if you like Chain Hotel vibes. I don't, but thats just my choice.
