Breakfree resort is a great spot for a vacation. The apartments are nothing fancy, but all you need for a relaxing stay away. Its location is great for walking to the beach and eateries, and only a short drive away from the shopping centres. The heated pool and spa was a hit for us, as we came during the cooler months. We loved our stay!

When we first arrived at the property the room we had booked was not the same as what was displayed on the Expedia photos. We brought this to the attention of staff at reception and we were looked after superbly by the staff, especially Jess who was awesome, which resulted in a room upgrade. The facility was great, but the staff were even better as they made our stay so good so a big thankyou to them!!!!

Smaller car owners should have been told to park underneath. The outside parking should have been for larger cars ONLY. IT was hard to find a park on the property at times for our large 4WD.

Unfortunately between Wotif and Breakfree Alexandra Beach, they were not very helpful to us, due to loosing our flight and money with Bonza we requested a date change due to living rurally and the cost of replacing the flights. All we received was a ‘sorry’ it was quite devastating for our family as this was our only family holiday for this year and last year.

We walked into the unit and right away there was a bad smell like mold. We went to reception and told her She said there was nothing she could send a machine to get rid of the smell which she did it was much better the unit was very old with no updates

Would have given 5* but the entire stay internet did not work and wasn’t fixed despite notifying management. Internet sadly would have been crucial as both my partner and I had to work. We tethered from mobiles instead. Everything else was impeccable :)

We will be back!
We travelled as 2 adults and 2 kids. We all loved the heated pools and spas. The location was fabulous, opposite the beach and the surf club. It's so easy to get to shopping facilities.

From arrival to departure, the staff could not be any more helpful. The studio room we had was very functional and well set out. The outside activities were very good but there was a little noise from some young people around the pool at night. Overall, a very good place to stay.
