Captain Thompson's resort is an outstanding resort. It has the best location of any in Alex Bay. It is within walking distance of everything. The view of the river and Bolt Castle in units on the main channel is second to none. The staff was very helpful and professional. The manager, Lisa, was exceptional! We plan to be a regular visitor every year.

The inside was amazing. Everything looked updated. I loved everything about the room and the stay.... except the smell of the linens. I recommend using fragrance-free detergents. We really loved our stay and will definitely be back.
