Nice clean hotel near, within walking distance, to downtown Alexandria Bay. Just as convenient as staying at the other hotels but at a reasonable cost. Walked to dinner, bars, and the boat tour docks. Also the diner (separate establishment) just in front of the hotel was a bonus on the mornings. Good food at good price to make everything easy.

Great place

I don’t normally stay at a motel type place but this place is truly a wonderful facility. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. The tv didn’t work well but overall a great place to stay.

The staff was super friendly from check in to check out. Bathroom was exceptionally clean for a motel. The room was small, but in good condition. The problem was the bed. Awful! We couldn't sleep it was so bad. Aching backs. Some family members also staying it the motel had the same problem, some asked for different rooms. Time to replace the mattresses!

Annual reunion

We had a wonderful stay. All areas of the hotel we saw were very clean and the staff was some of the most welcoming and friendly we have encountered. My only suggestion is the fitted sheets do not have deep enough corners. Each morning our bottom sheet was pooled in the middle of the bed, no longer tucked in.

Likes: 1. clean floor (non-carpeted), walls, and bathroom. Looks like recently renovated. 2. Bed sheets are actual cotton. 3. Friendly staff. Dislikes: 1. Stale smell upon entering the room, and even worse, stale smell in the bathroom - hard to breathe! 2. The sheets do not wrap the comforter and there are large patches of yellowish stains and a small blood stain on the comforter that are easily visble. 3. The mattress is of very poor quality. It's hard to sit on the bed because the mattress saggs so much you would slip off the bed. And the mattress sqeaks loudly too. 4. Bathroom door is mis-alighed with the frame and does not close. 5. Despite being clean and looking new, the sink surface area is tiny and I had to put all my toiletries on the desk outside of the bathroom.
