Old and pricey hotel with minimum facilities
Old hotel, smelled bad everywhere, lots of dust in reception area and surroundings are unclean, paint peeling off everywhere, receptionist are not welcoming and in the room, TV is damaged smelled bad, couple of roaches visited and the bath tub and surroundings are old and unclean Breakfast is ok but the food is not fresh and we have to buy everything including wqter for exorbitant prices from reception area Only one lift out of 2 is working and for such a huge building its bad as we always had to wait for the lift Hotel is in an unsafe area and dont bother about electric charging which is a very slow charger only 2 of them and allowed for only 2 hrs

I had great stay, the only thing they use to have a shuttle to the metro before covid, I wish they bring it back the walk to the Van Dorn Street station isn't that bad because it is all down hill but from the station to the Hotel is a tough walk because of the long uphill walk

The price was good and staff were helpful. However, the infrastructure is old. One of the two elevators has been out of commission for months. The shower is old and has a clunky and confusing temperature control. Do not get a street side room. There is a hill with a stop light directly in front of the hotel with alot of traffic noise during the night. Be careful when making a left hand turn out of the hotel as visibility is poor on the left side.

My room was good and clean. The bathroom was ok, however the toilet was loose, so it rocked each time I sat down on it. Also, other guests smoked marijuana in the elevators, although they weren't in the elevator when I boarded, the smell was very pronounced and unpleasant.
