We visited this hotel as family with three children. The rooms were good, the free breakfast excellent, the swimming pool was appreciated by the children. The one thing where we experienced inconvenience was the parking: it is below the hotel complex, so it should be good, but within the space there are regions for different groups that share the building complex, and it was really difficult to find the way around there. Much more curves and turns than in a usual parking facility, everything very narrow, especially for a family car, and recognizing the relevant signs was not obvious. Otherwise a very good hotel.

Wonderful Place for Romance and Tourism

We had an awesome romantic getaway here. Great view of the Masonic Temple and King Street Metro Station from our room. Minimal train noise when the VRE blew its horn no noticeable rail noise. Ask for the back side of the hotel if you don't want to hear it. Large atrium in the middle of the hotel with lots of natural light. Great breakfast buffet. Wonderful bar with helpful and friendly bartenders. Steps from the metro station and a comfortable walk to all the shopping and dining along King Street. Suites were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Nice fixtures and furniture. Bed was very firm and supportive. I woke with no back pain. However, I could feel pressure points on my hip and shoulder in the morning. Convenient check-in area. Lots of parking. Only negatives I experienced were: 1) no hot tub 2) strange fragrance in both entrances and 3) cold draft blew through breakfast area when anyone came through the garage entrance.

Very convenient location - free Old Town Trolley and King Street Metro Station directly in front of the hotel. Decent breakfast buffet; nice-sized suites, comfortable beds, good shower pressure. This is an older hotel, relatively speaking, but it is well kept up.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. The location was very nice and convenient to local shops, restaurants and places to see. What we didn’t like was the parking in the garage is very tight and there are obstructions hanging low from the garage ceiling. If you have a truck or large sized vehicle, you will damage your vehicle. You won’t find that out until you go down. Also, the room was not cleaned property. Floors not vacuumed well, hair and dirt on countertops and bathroom tub. We had to clean every down good when we got into the room. I wouldn’t stay there again.
