Overall I felt the place was a miss. First checking in they told me they only had one room left. Next to the fitness room. The walls are thin and you can hear everything! The front desk did end up moving me which was very nice. Laurie was nice but she was about the only good thing. The walls were thin that you could hear everything around you. No coffee available in the morning even to purchase. The front desk that morning acted like it was normal and had no customer service. The fridge didn’t work. Overall the pictures and location look nice but leaves much to be desired.

Mount Vernon, VA Visit

The Front Desk staff was amazing. Rowland, Angela & Ocean are all very friendly and do as much as they can to make your stay very enjoyable. Room was very clean and quiet hotel for being on the second floor. Restaurant downstairs was very good. Great location on King Street.

Excellent staff, clean and safe. My only complaint is the design of the bathroom door which is a sliding door. I've learned my lesson- I will ALWAYS ask about this before booking from now on. The sliding doors on a bathroom don't work for me. They don't offer total privacy and they don't lock. That's major points off. We won't be back. Everything else was fine so if that doesn't matter to you then go for it, bc otherwise it was very nice.

Desk clerk - seemed bored. Didn’t know answers to questions. She was always on her phone when we’d pass her. Didn’t appear very professional. Restaurant- food was fabulous. Staff very nice. Wish bar was open later. Location - great. Close to metro, Amtrak, all things on King Street. Housekeeping-one morning they saw us leave our room and didn’t clean it. Wasn’t impressed. Room- small but clean. Wish they would have plugged in the beverage cooler. We were told there was no fridge in the room . I don’t think I’d stay here again. But I would eat at the restaurant.

It's nice and clean and in a good location! They did double charge me for a refundable pet fee (I brought one dog and they charged me for two) and it hasn't been refunded yet which I don't love. Might've been a one off though, so wouldn't let it keep you from staying here, but worth paying attention to the charges!

Snow not well cleared off sidewalks near hotel - Alexandria problem really not hotel. Room (2 full size beds) was small. But clean and modern.
