I was in a terrible mood when I wrote previous review. On my way to the Pennsylvania area from NJ I had 2 different badly behaved customer service issues, none having to do with your very nice hotel. Coming in and check in ( check out as well) was a delight with your excellent staff. My review was directed at corporate headquarters, or an imaginary one-because I never consider the independent champs like I should. Anyway thank you, please disregard.

$150 deposit on a $50 hotel room is high. Having a hotel hold onto $150 while you're on vacation is a pain. Especially for dive like this. And to make it worse, the clerk was rude about it.

Nice older hotel
Nice older hotel. Staff was very friendly. My only complaint was with our room. There was no where to sit other than on the bed or the desk chair. There was plenty of room for a chair or small sofa. After hiking all day, a comfy chair to relax in would have been nice. Breakfast was okay. Wished they had oatmeal. There was eggs and meat, waffle maker, and breads. No fresh fruit.

Positive vibes on this very affordable place. Remodeled rooms were very clean, the beds are super comfy with plenty of sheets and comforter. Delicious free breakfast, 24 hr coffee. Friendly front desk staff.

Nice place
Very happy with our choice for one evening. Large clean room, comfortable bedding, excellent welcome by the 2 clerks who were very kind and helpful. However, the view of the shower in the room is a bit special and lacks privacy for a trip with friends. It gave us a good laugh. Very good breakfast.

It was easy to park the car. I checked in at around 2 a.m., and the staff was still very enthusiastic. Checking in and checking out were really fast. The room is big and clean. There are yellow scales near the edge of the bathtub, but for me, it was acceptable since the bathtub seemed old. The bathroom and the bathtub were clean, by the way.
