Hotel was fine and was comfortable. It is a bit aged. some things were a bit worn, but functionable. Nothing exceptional about. The workout room was minimum at best. One treadmill one stationary bike and a very cheap weight station. The hotel suited my needs. just needed a place to sleep while traveling.

Room was comfy. AC super rickety and loud, but grateful it worked. Breakfast started later than most hotel breakfasts (7am) We needed to leave at 7, and there was a crowd of workers and others (who also obviously needed to get going early) waiting right at 7. We were able to get a bite it, but we're almost late for our event. The coffee machine wasn't working either. Luckily we had our coffee in the room prior, but some folks were disappointed. Breakfast attendant was very kind and helpful to everyone. The hot tub in the pool area was not the one in the picture on the website. It was a home whirlpool unit, and there was no where to turn on the jets. Basically a hot 2 person bathtub. Probably not staying here next year for this athletic event. Breakfast and spa are essential for us.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was well supplied, quiet, and comfortable. Appreciated that worship was available in-house on Sunday. I didn’t use the pool or eat breakfast, but they both looked enticing. Suggestions for improvement… recaulk tub and clean in-room carpet. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Overall Wonderful

My husband and I stayed at this hotel while we were going to a wedding for a friend of mine. All the people that have helped us were very kind and caring, and I am very grateful for that. The continental breakfast was very good overall, but I think the apples in the fruit bowl could have had a little bit better quality to them. I like that there was coffee and tea and hot chocolate available 24 hours a day, and it helped perk my husband up. I like how long the pool was open. However, the pool water was too cold for majority of our stay and we could not get the jets in the Jacuzzi tub to go. Overall, we had a great time, and we would return if we would need to come back to the area for some reason.

Hot tub did not work and the pool area was out of towels. Only 2 towels for the shower. Clean but a little “damp/musty” smell when first entering room. However staff was very nice and it was quite clean. Needs updated, painted, but still clean and good for an overnight stay.

Being born and raised in Altoona, this is the place we always stay when we come home for family reunions, funerals, weddings, etc. We have noticed the property seems to be wearing down. I was surprised to see the black mold in our shower and the air conditioner is super loud and made a rumbling noise all night. Other than that, most of the staff is friendly and we’ll keep on staying here because it feels like our Altoona home when we visit.

We've stayed at this location before and in the past it has been great for our needs, but this time we were disappointed. When we got in the room there was a terrible odor--not sure if it was the carpet or AC, but it was very overpowering. I went and bought an odor eliminator spray to help with the smell but it didn't do much. Our bathroom shower/tub was not cleaned and the bathroom floor was also sticky. We had planned to spend time at the pool with our kids and stay at the hotel some, but just didn't feel comfortable and decided to spend our time elsewhere. I would have cancelled altogether and went elsewhere but I couldn't find other availability in the area we were visiting. On a positive note, the ladies running breakfast kept everything well-stocked and fresh and that was very much appreciated.

Great place again. Only problem was the bathtub was slick as ice. I am 70 years old and it scared me to death. I don’t need another broken hip! Please put some non-skid strips in the bathtub.

There was an exhaust fan on the roof over our room 324 it ran all night the floor smelled like feet and was dirty we booked for 2 nights stayed one and let the next morning the Breakfast was OK but they really should not put the bread with the eggs they cross -contaminate for people that have Celiac aka Gluten allergies

ItThe check in started well and the gentleman was courteous and helpful. Breakfast ok as advertised. All down from there. Room access cards terrible. Beds a disaster. Too Firm and can feel springs. None of this made any better if delayed at front desk while receptionist takes smoke break. Last time for us at this place.
