Our room was lovely, and the service was impeccable. Tomas was extremely helpful in helping us figure out the bus schedule and he also recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The breakfast terrace was beautiful with an amazing view of Amalfi and the sea. We loved that the hotel was just far enough from the busy part of town so that it was quiet, but close enough to walk anywhere we needed to. We hope to be back in the future!

My wife and I stayed at Villa Lara for 5 days in early October 2024 and it was a fantastic visit. The owner and staff were outstanding - very helpful with questions about local attractions, restaurants and transportation. The Villa is very clean, the breakfasts were excellent and the view from the Villa's balcony/breakfast area was stunning. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends.

Amazing hotel with great view, room and service!
The best hotel we have stayed in Italy so far. The service was amazing, the rooms clean & comfortable and the view is incredible. Quiet hotel yet really convenient for the town. Variety of breakfast choices and really enjoyed a drink in the evening over looking the town. Thoroughly recommend!!

We had an excellent stay at Villa Lara! We were lucky enough to get the aquamarine suite which was very clean, spacious and had an amazing balcony view. The breakfast buffet was served each morning on the a balcony that also had an incredible view. Villa Lara is a nice quiet oasis tucked away from the busy square but close enough to walk to. The staff were also phenomenal and very attentive. We had forgotten our universal charger and the staff found a way to get to us at our next hotel all the way in positano!

By far one of my favorite stays while I traveled across Italy. The people running this resort were incredibly nice and offered lots of help with transportation. They do a great job communicating with their clients and helped set up a private driver for us to get from Amalfi back to Rome

Excellent property, highly recommend it. It is in a walkable distance to the main Amalfi church, shops and restaurants, but in a quiet location. We missed to connect with the staff in advance, they can provide great recommendations to plan your trip.

Villa Lara is a truly lovely place to stay in Amalfi It is close to the centre yet when you are in the villa it is tranquil and views are amazing It is so nice and clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful, breakfast on the terrace is just wonderful! Excellent Villa in Amalfi town, located at the end of the main street in town, up on the hill. Clean and very charming. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning was spectacular. The staff were absolutely lovely, super accommodating and very helpful with great recommendations of things to do. Perfect home base from which to explore the Amalfi coast. Highly recommend!

This place will exceed your expectations 🩷⭐️ It is a 7 minute walk from the ferry, and has a mountain elevator that takes you to the property perched amongst lemon gardens and spectacular views. The staff is over the top amazing making every detail very special. We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely be back in the future.

Absolutely wonderful small, family owned hotel just a block or two from the center of the town of Amalfi, about a half mile from the water. Amalfi town is very crowded, but lots of shops and good restaurants at reasonable prices Villa Lara is set on top of a hill, and you can take a tiny elevator up to the lobby. The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating. The rooms and common areas are very nice and immaculately kept. Both the sleeping area and bathroom were very large for Europe, and in great condition. The rates are an incredible deal for the Amalfi Coast. We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Villa Lara.
