Checkin slow as it is connected with the general store. Elevator to 2nd floor and then you have to go down two sets of stairs to get to your room. Our room had a dripping faucet in the room that kept us awake.

Casino restaurant food was surprisingly good and the service was very good. The room itself is pretty noisy-we could hear virtually everything from every surrounding room. There’s not much around the area in terms of restaurants but we were only interested in visiting Death Valley so it was a good place to stay.

This property is like an oasis in the middle of nowhere! If you’re going to the national park it’s a great base camp. Everyone that works there is super friendly. The rooms even though they are dated , are spotless and they have everything that you need. A great place to stay when traveling . I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!!!

There are not much options that are reasonable around Death Valley NP. It's about 35 minutes out of the park. It is a old property that looks like it is frozen in time, but it is clean with great staff and a really amazing inexpensive restautant right in the hotel. Get a room with a balcony or patio because the back of the hotel is the real surprise. Amazing to come back from the park and have a beer overlooking it all.

This is a nice and more affordable option to choose when you visit Death Valley NP. The hotel is a little outdated but clean, and the staffs are very friendly. The food at the restaurant is not very impressive.

OK for One Night

This property is isolated east of Death Valley. We chose it for one night after hiking in Death Valley during the day. First the good: very friendly staff, excellent bed, and everything in the room worked fine. The bad: the elevator for the second floor rooms drops you off on an area that is two sections of stairs above the second floor, making it awkward to use a luggage cart for larger loads; the restaurant was just OK, with overcooked entres and limited choices more like a bar snack menu. There are no other lodging or restaurant locations in the vicinity, so this wouldn’t be a place to spend more than one night.

Nothing special, but ok

Lobby and restaurant areas smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. Room was ok on smell. Very poor lighting in room - need more lights and stronger light bulbs. Bed was hard, but ok. Bedding was skimpy - needed more blankets or thicker (warmer) blankets. I was cold sleeping. Restaurant was ok, nothing special, but pricey for what you got. Shower had nice pressure and hot water.

I picked Longstreet because of the proximity to Death Valley. It was very clean and safe and the staff are top notch! It's a bit worn and out of date, but that didn't bother me. The bed was very comfortable! It would have been nice to have a fridge and coffee in the room, but I made do without.

What an experience! The Casino, registration and restaurant were combined with a huge pond decorated pond outside. The beds were comfortable and the room was well equipped and clean although somewhat dated. A place like you’ve never seen before but no complaints.
