What I liked: Very conveniently located right along Interstate 40; the premises were clean and attractive. What could have been better: The surrounding neighborhood was slightly run down (a couple of closed businesses were nearby); no green spaces nearby

Great Place for Overnight While Traveling

Third time I have stayed at this hotel in Amarillo. Used to stay at Hilton Tru in Amarillo but they got so expensive that I tried this place out. Its like a Hilton Tru hotel but at half to a third of the cost.

I noticed the room was unclean, there was an unpleasant odor coming from the carpet, stained bedding/towels, found an infant sock under the bed, trash, and a clogged bathtub. The towels were dingy and old. These conditions were unacceptable and made it very difficult to feel comfortable or safe in the room.

Our room was the dirtiest I've ever stayed in. The carpet was black and nothing in the room worked including the tv and refrigerator. The only positive was the friendliness of the lady at the check in counter. Don't stay here!
