The condition of the hotel and its location were not as advertised. The entrance to my room smelled of urine. The room itself was clea but smelled of disinfectant. However, the hostesses were friendly.

We got a king sz bed, on ground floor which we asked for! They were so nice and gave us our request! Ladies at desk very friendly and helpful! Price was excellent! The lady helping with breakfast was so nice and friendly! We always stop at this place when traveling through Amarillo!

This property is not like a regular La Quinta but maybe an old motel . We arrived close to midnight , the room was DISGUSTING AND SMELT OF CIGARETTES . I did call and the only room they had was upstairs and there was already a shirtless man walking around up there at midnight staring at us . So we just laid on the bed and slept for 5 hours . Upon waking and realizing there was NOT HOT WATER but only a cold shower was a final straw ! I will NEVER be staying at any of these hotel chains ever again ! This place should be condemned !!

The room itself was just a room. I almost gave it three stars because there is a Taco Bell in the parking lot and you can hear the drive thru speaker from inside the room (the windows are thin); however, breakfast the next morning made me decide to give it four stars. The breakfast was really good (sausage, eggs, bagels, cereal, waffles, yogurt, and more) and the lady in charge of cleaning and keeping it up was really sweet. I would probably stay here again if I could get a room on the other side of the hotel from the Taco Bell.
