We've always chosen this hotel.. but sadly this time it was awful. There was hardly any other people staying there & it's usually busy. Beds weren't comfy at all, hard. The worst part, lots of homeless people. We saw 2 just in the short time we were there. They're allowed to come in and use restroom and get drinks.. and one was asleep in a booth by the food during breakfast. How sad. I mean I feel bad for them but it's unsafe and unclean. The person was just filthy and was curled up at a table.. all their bags and belongings laying about. Unacceptable.

We appreciated our stay at this affordable, pet-friendly hotel and enjoyed a friendly welcome from the gentleman working the front desk upon our arrival. He tried to find us a room towards the back of the hotel where we could see our truck and trailer and be further away from the road noise but those rooms were booked. Our room was very clean and comfortable but the highway noise and the light pollution was not conducive to restful sleep. I struggled and had to place a pillow over my ears and eyes when I awoke at 2am. It would be decent and respectful if other patrons traveling with pets would pick up after their pets in the grassy areas. We would stay at this clean and friendly hotel again but only if our room is towards the back as far away from the highway as possible.

Great area to walk the dog! Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, water pressure was great. The only negative thing was we had issues with getting the shower door closed. One of the nicer La Quintas we've stayed in during our cross-country roadtrip.
