Their website is extremely deceiving. No live music, below average food, pool was closed, extremely slow service at the restaurant, extremely loud from all the trucks, unfriendly rude staff.

My stay here was average. Check-in was quick and easy which I appreciated. The shower head didn’t work correctly and sprayed water everywhere but on me. The sink backed up when the shower was on and smelled bad. But the room was clean and I was only there to sleep so it provided me with what I needed for the night.

We were given a room with a jet tub but the jets didn't work and the tub had no plug. Would have been nice after our long trip. If it wasn't for the Steak house we would probably stay somewhere else.

This was our fourth stay at Big Texan and unfortunately our least positive. The AC in our room was so loud I could barely sleep even with ear plugs in! Also we were near the Semi parking and as they left early in the am it was noisey. Very unfortunate experience, highly recommend that you request a room away from the Semi parking.

Had reservation for 9 months. Arrived at check in time and was told code to room. Started unloading and room door was open. Looked in and it was not clean. Went back to front desk and she said it wouldn’t be long. She said we could bring our dogs in lobby since it was 95 degrees outside and the property has zero trees or shade. Standing in the lobby, (no chairs) we saw others arrive and get right into clean rooms. After waiting more than thirty minutes, we went down the road and stayed somewhere else. Won’t be paying for that place nor would I recommend it to anyone looking for a place that cares about customer service.

It's was cute definitely an experience. The steakhouse as really good. The rooms were adorable, but it was not an easy sleep. You can hear the swinging doors for the bathrooms from other rooms all night. Other than that it was a good stay
