Might wanna check the shower ceiling darkness, but a very nice room. And thank you to the girl working the office, was a champ getting our room tv up and running
I was traveling from Albuquerque to Gravette, AR, I called for reservation while driving in from Big Texian Web Site. It was an 800 number and went to what sounded like a India Call Center.
I did not like heavy accent and they tried to price me way over the online rate
I went to Expedia and got much better online rate which was much more in line with pricing in the area.
My wife and I arrived about 10:11pm, went into restaurant and grab dinner before retiring to our room which was right around corner.
Hotel sent us access code so no check in and room was clean and cozy.
Would do it again but I recommend the Property going away for the Reservation service associated with 800 number.
I booked this place based on the positive reviews, but I was shocked by how disappointing it turned out to be. The property is in poor condition, with graffiti on the walls and extremely thin walls that allow every noise to be heard. The rooms are outdated and look nothing like the pictures. To make matters worse, the beds are as hard as a rock and the pillows are cheap foam rubber. I honestly can't understand how anyone could rate this place higher than a three. To call this place a dump would be a compliment.
No contact check in was easy but management was non responsive when we found a problem. Wind was blowing under my door and it was 20 degrees outside, windows were also drafty. Called 4 times to complain about bed bug we had on video as proof of infestation, everyone said they would have someone else call us back. Finally called the Restaurant manager and he was able to get the motel manager to call us back.
We arrived late into the evening, dropped our bags off and ran to eat dinner. We hadn’t returned to our room until closer to 11pm. As we settled in for the night; my husband noticed a bug on our bed. He brushed it into the toilet to throw it away. As I was nursing our 7 month old; I noticed another bug on my pillow. We looked it up and both bugs looked like adult bedbugs. We called the front desk and they said they would relocate us to their sister hotel the Cactus Cove Inn and Suites; that they would completely refund our stay. They provided us a receipt saying that the stay was refunded; however, the charge remains on our card. About two days after this motel stop I had itchy bite marks on my arm, as is congruent with bedbug bites. I’ve reached out to hotels.com and they contacted the motel. The motel manager is now refusing to refund our stay. This was an enormous inconvenience for us, as we had to relocate hotels that night at midnight with a seven month old baby. It is also very disappointing that Hotels.com is unable to do anything about this. I utilize this site for many of my travels. One would think that a company would take care of their loyal customers…guess not! Do yourself a favor and avoid booking a night at this motel and booking through hotels.com.
Walls were paper thin and we could hear everything. The expressway was so close you could hear every car on it. The property needs serious updates, the stairs to the second level are very sketchy with rust holes. I could go on, would NOT recommend this motel to anyone.
