The clerk upsold us for $20 to a “nicer room” “with tile floors” “on the second floor not the third.” Do not be upsold! We ended up in a much worse room! The bed springs were creaky. The lights had no shut-off switch; they had to be unplugged. And it was super noisy! There was a ton of noise from the center garden area- you want to be on the third, not the second, and carpet may help keep quieter. It will not help the street noise if you’re on that side though, nor will it help the cool-looking but extremely buzzy mini fridge. We had to unplug it! The bathroom had stylish features, but was unfinished.
Later, there was a line of people trying to check in saying there was no clerk to be found.
The restaurant and music scene is great, but there is not enough seating for even a fraction of hotel guests on a busy night.
I think this could be a nice hotel. But it was a mistake for us, and we ended up leaving.
