Very nice Bed and Breakfast. The proprietor is very kind and service oriented. The single room was spotless, comfy and nicely decorated. Well stocked tea and coffee options in the room. There is even more in the aisle if you somehow run out. Onsite parking was nice to have.

Excellent all around -- esp. the breakfast!

Excellent stay all around. The couple who run this place were friendly, professional, and very helpful. And they cooked the best English breakfast we've ever had! Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a wonderful view. Really the best of experience. We will return soon hopefully.

Great location

Great location and lovely couple managing guest house, with a superb breakfast. Only comment was room (11) was a tad on small size with no air conditioning (it was a really hot couple of days and being at top of hotel was very hot at night).

Lovely B&B a few minutes walk to the centre. The owners are super friendly and the room was very comfortable and large with ncie views of some of the surrounding hills. Very good breakfast. Easy parking on site or the road just round the corner from the hotel. Would recommend and would stay again

Top accommodation

Giles and Andrea run a tight ship with the friendliest of service and highest standards. The B&B is situated in the heart of Amblside with on site parking! A boon. I would thoroghly recommend it for a stay in the Lakes..

Hospitality at its best

Fabulous b&b recently bought by new owners who were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious…full Cumbrian, vegetarian or breakfast sandwiches all accompanied by fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereal and toast. All produce locally sourced which i love. We had single rooms which were small but more than adequate in size as a base. Lovely crisp, high quality bedding and luxury pure lakes toiletries.

Great, friendly and accommodating. My only disappointment was I had to leave too early on my 2nd day to have the cooked breakfast, which was delicious the 1st day, with good quality local produce that tasted amazing.
