A very nice, well-run inn. This is the second time we’ve stayed there, and it doesn’t disappoint: the rooms are clean, attractive and well designed, with comfortable beds ready to sink down on after a long drive (and we were given a room for a person with disabilities as we had requested, which is not always the case when booking hotel rooms!). The rooms are quiet, which make for a good night's sleep. The staff is friendly and very helpful, the breakfast excellent. We had a very good stay there again, and look forward to returning next year!

The hotel is is very clean, cute, comfortable, convenient! Hotel staff is great, with the exception of 1 individual who constantly scoffs, sighs & seems to scold patrons as their enjoying a delicious warm breakfast Maybe that person was having a bad, that lasted for 5? Other than that, the stay was excellent!

New England getaway

The hotel, the location, the service are absolutely stellar! Our one, however VERY minimal problem was with the food server. Perhaps the individual was having a bad day, that possibly lasted six? But the unfriendly, rushed, seemingly bothered attitude wasnt enough to spoil our stay

I booked a room with two queen beds for my wife, myself, and two children to share. We arrived a half hour early, and the staff was super accommodating and was able to check us in early. Unfortunately, when we entered our room, we only found one queen bed. I returned to the desk to explain the simple mistake, but they told me that Expedia does this a lot to customers. They make it appear that two beds were booked, but book whatever is available from the hotel. They were unable to switch us to the room that we booked. Expedia was not helpful when we called to express our displeasure with the booking experience. They were short on a text chain and told me to periodically check my email for a follow up. It is a pretty tight fit in the room and we are unable to have they stay we needed. I wish I knew this was possible, as I would have booked straight through the hotel site. Holiday weekend sealed our fate in this tiny room, as all other rooms in this and other nearby hotels were unavailable. Major thumbs down for the Expedia experience!!

It was clean. The lighting over the sink was poor. I suggested to them that they put in a lighted magnifying makeup mirror. The breakfast was ok but couldn’t figure how to get batter for waffles.
