We took the luxury king bed room. had the misfortune to have kids baseball teams at the hotel. Kids runing up and down the hallways, being loud all night till midnight. Didnt get to use the pool or stay for breakfast even, food was gone, eggs all over the floor. The tv didnt work so couldn't drown the noise or watch a movie, not a smart tv. Only one light worked in the room. The bed was comfortable and the beding nice at least.this was the worst hotel experience.

Great alternative to Halifax but very out dated for the price. Good restaurant very close on Amherst. Good mattress and pillows Some rooms are smoky. Work out room is from the 80's. Needs a good facelift with updated flooring and wall coverings.

Great central location for day trips

The hotel was older but in good condition. Breakfast was great and went until 10 which was nice. Our room wouldn’t get made up unless we left the hotel for the day by noon.

Half the property is motel style doors opening to the outside. Parking lot is extremely dark and not level. Parking spots infront of the hotel are all apparently "reserved" despite not being marked in any way. Lobby has been updated to help justifiy the high price price. They have laid a new carpet in the halways but under the carpet is unlevel and a tripping hazard. Rooms have not been updated in any way. Front desk staff were extremely rude.

The checkin staff person was very pleasant and helpful. She even offered to help us with our luggage as there was no elevator. Comfortable bed slept well. The hotel is quite dated. The room itself had no electrical outlets at the head of the bed. I use a cpap machine and luckily , with no cord to spare I was able to reach an outlet by the air conditioner. I also have to use a heating pad but wasn’t able to as the cord did not reach. The door frame to the hall had been tampered with many times. I went to put the safety guard on the door and it fell into my hand.
