The Desk staff were so incredibly cordial and knowledgeable. The building itself is repurposed from an armory and so whimsical. Terrific amenities in the room. Such a fun experience. And the Amsterdam walking bridge and park across the river is definitely worth a visit. As is the local bakery!

Great unique stay.

If you’re looking for something different and a bit of history. This is the place. It’s a historic building that has been nicely renovated. It’s quiet during the week and you can spend an hour or more exploring the grounds and interior.

Fun family escape

We loved our stay at Amsterdam Castle! It is a beautiful, unique property that felt magical. It was so fun to explore and view all the art and decor. The owners were kind and welcoming. The room was massive and felt like we were back in Italy. Amazing, no notes. We will be back!

We have stayed there many times and have noticed the quality going downhill the last couple of times. This last stay the air conditioning was broken which made sleeping uncomfortable. Also, the bed was harder than in the past. The choice between the pillow was rock hard or flat. All of the little amenities were still there which is appreciated, but we prefer a restful sleep.

Incredible place to stay, the rooms are so spacious and it's like you're staying in a giant art gallery. The castle itself is spectacular, such a great price for what you are getting.
