No daily housekeeping, staff oblivious to situations involving emergencies, uncomfortable sleeping. “Hotel” also has a possible bed bug issue, frequently found bugs on towels, and woke up with bites. Place has inconsistent heating, multiple times the radiators did not produce any heat, other times they were very warm. Limited dining options in the area as well.

The room is clean and big for 2. And the place is quiet. The hotel even email you for special requests you want. But I wish there are more convenient stores nearby for quick shop of food. Otherwise, everything was good. Definitely recommended

The staff we interacted with were very nice. What we didn’t realise when we booked this hotel was that it wasn’t a conventional hotel. The cleanliness was ok, but a bit more attention to detail wouldn’t go amiss. There was nowhere to hang up or put away clothes so literally lived out of a bag. Our room had no windows which was a bit strange but it was called the cinema room so that kind of explained it. There was also no housekeeping the whole time we were there, again this could have been advised at booking and if it was I hadn’t noticed. I think the rooms were almost self catering as a microwave and some utensils were provided. So there was a smell of cooking from other rooms oozing into ours, wasn’t always the most palatable if I’m honest. On a plus the hotel was within walking distance of the train station (one stop away from Amsterdam Central), the station had a few places to get something to eat/drink as well as a spar next door.

This is just like a hostel that is good for short-term stays. No freebies, no extra (no free bottled water, no restaurant/stores around) type of hotel. There’s a vending machine in the lobby with limited items and a booth with some snacks. At night, the reception area is dark and only one person is there and there’s a loud noise (like banging door) that woke me up several times. It’s decent so I wanna give it a 3 1/2 stars.

Great property! The staff were amazing & it was really clean! The location is good as it’s walking distance to the train station but it states that it’s a 7 minute drive to Anne Frank house when it’s more like 18-30 minutes depending on traffic.

Very safe with friendly staff. Also very close to Sloterdijk train station so it was very easy to use public transportation. It wasn’t very clean. My shower curtain was very old with black mildew or mold on the bottom. They advertised that the property had laundry, but when k asked, they claimed it had been out of order for some time. They provide limited toiletries (hand soap m, and a 2 in 1 body wash/shampoo.
