Staff were very helpful and nice. You need to be able to negotiate super steep stairs with your luggage. I mean steep! We were on the 4 th floor, so this was a good workout. Luckily we take carry on luggage or I wouldn’t have been able to get to my room. They will help you if you can’t do it on your own. Easy access from Eurostar. Lots of close dining options. You are right in the middle of the city.
Room was amazing! Staff? Even better!!!! The friendliest staff I have encountered on many, many, years of travelling. I regret not asking for their FB so I could keep in touch.
Stayed at the backstage for one night on our way back to Toronto. The staff was kind, the rock n roll decor was very cool. They let us check in quite early and had water in the room which was appreciated. Rooms were clean and the location is very central to everything. I would stay again.
Very friendly service. Room was super cute. Loved the balcony. Pack light. Stairs would be a killer with large suitcases. (We did hear someone dragging theirs down the stairs at 7am) fun atmosphere
Absolutely magical spot right in the heart of it all! Quiet area, but close to it all - museums, shopping, canals!
Mo and Vince at the front desk were amazing and helpful with recommendations and kindness.
The upgraded room made the steps worth it and looking out over the canal with my wine was exactly what my soul needed.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
I will start with the good. The staff I dealt with were all very personable. The theming was great. Now, I paid extra to get a private room. I shouldnt of have. The walls and door are thinner than paper. I could literally hesr the peoples conversations next door clearly. The staircase up and down the first floor is dangerous. I slipped twice because the stairs are so small. I ended ul booking another hotel just so Icould sleep at night due tonexcessive noise from other guests
This property is probably a 4.5 out of 5. It was accurately described in the description which I appreciated. Very clean and they were accommodating to let me leave my stuff when I arrived early. I didn’t love having to go between floors to shower and there was no where to set stuff while showering. Other than that, it was what I expected.
Over all it was a kind of a good stay
But The bed felt like I was falling off the side which made my sleep bad ..
there are shared toilets for solo guests so make sure you read the small print of what type of room your in and the shower we a floor below would not be going there again
Simple hotel, great for short-stay / trips! Good location & very close to some trendy restaurants and tram line.

No lift! If you have any mobility issues please note that the stairs are winding. Other than that, the room we were in was similar to the size of a cruise ship twin room (2 beds). The customer service was good and the staff were helpful and would even look up bus times, etc. The location was close enough to walk to most attractions or to catch a bus or train. Restaurants were also steps away. On-site bar, game room and overall coolness effect of the place are worth noting.
