Our room was terrible. Overlooked a mechanical shaft area. Had to walk down a hallway which had a dangerous step down. Could not turn on bathroom light from inside bathroom so woke partner every time had to use the bathroom at night. Room was dark and dingy.

Great area and very close to bus route, very easily accessible. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly, however the room was a bit outdated and the bed was not as comfortable as we would have hoped.

Hotel location was great for easy tram access and close by canal ring/Anne Frank house. Room was clean with comfortable bed, air conditioning did not work but windows opened and we were provided with a fan on request. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The room was teeny; no room for luggage and we only had carry-ons. Stacking belongings around the room would be considered an unsafe hazard if you had to evacuate for any reason. That said, all of the rooms we experienced on our trip were small. Maybe a European thing?
