There were no usb ports in the room. I had a balcony room (for an upgrade) but the cigarette stubs just beyond the rsiling were disgusting and ugly. The city view was great, looking down at the butts made me gag. The waft of cigatette smell ruined my cheese picnic.

Doubletree in Amsterdam Centraal

We had a perfect stay. The hotel was in a great location. Nearly every tourist attraction is walkable. There is a grocery store less than a block away. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant was good and rooftop bar area was hoping. I would definitely recommend.

Pros: close proximity to central station and tourism attractions. Had a good selection for breakfast. Con: thumping noises if you stay at a higher floor since there’s a bar on the top floor. The worst part of our experience was checking-in and getting our luggages stored with the concierge. The front desk staff wasn’t very friendly, and there was no one at the concierge desk at all. Would not stay at this hotel again, the lobby was also very cramped at times and lack organisation.
