Schilpol airport is overrun by its location and success. The Hampton Hotel suffers from being one of the many satellite developments built about 10km from the airport itself. The result is an airport in a construction zone where future conveniences may be located. Atthe momenrtit is a work in progress that is a value which. attracts tours aand crews. The free breakfast is a must as theere would be no place to go otherwisee. The breakfast is good. with a fairly wide if not top quality choice. The hotel is well placed for a short stay but no long term stay.. Taxis. are the only option to and from the airport. complex

Ok place.
Convenient to Schiphol but no where to go when you get there. They have a small hotel bar but they ran out of beer early. The fan in my room didn’t work and the shower design was awkward. It’s an ok place for the price.

Lovely hotel close to Hoofddorp station which is only one stop fropm Amsterdam Airport. Approx 30 min by train into city centre. Hotel was clean and staff friendly good buffet breakfast in morning

Handy for the airport and free waffles!
A very handy hotel for Schiphol Amsterdam airport, one stop on the regular trains from the airport to Hoofdorp station and a 5 mins walk from there (just tap in and out with a debit card on the train to avoid the extra paper ticket fee). Comfortable rooms, beds very firm, great free breakfast included with fresh waffles and hot options. Very easy and only 20 mins on the train from Amsterdam city centre.

Only the proximity to the Amsterdam airport is a plus. Which is negated by the hotel’s lack of (participation in) a shuttle service to the actual airport. Then the ridiculously high pricing for all that mediocrity is not exactly a reason to go here.

From train station 10 min walk along busy road. Shower did overflow, drainage clogged with hair, problem inconvenienced but solved by front staff. Breakfast was good with choices.
