The room had no AC or ventilation, and despite reporting the issue, the staff only apologized and did not resolve it. The family endured two sleepless nights, leading to health problems, and no action was taken even after a follow-up complaint.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast everyday for that price was amazing. The absence of a mini bar was a bit less, but then again shops at the nearby trainstation and in the immediate vicinity were very convenient.

Good breakfast, good service, quality rooms but I just wish there was a mini fridge 😪 You can also leave your luggage there for free if you have a late train/flight and explore the city for one more day.

I recently stayed at the Hampton by Hilton in Amsterdam for three nights and, unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. Breakfast was okay. There was only one working coffee machine, which caused frustrating queues each morning. For a hotel of this size, this seemed poorly managed. The room itself was a letdown. The bathroom had visible mould in the grout, which was off-putting and suggested a lack of thorough cleaning. The bed was equally disappointing – the mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows were lumpy, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. I actually woke up each morning with back pain. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and courteous throughout my stay, which was appreciated.

Kamer bevat bijna alles, mist een kleine koelkast vooral nodig in de zomer. Kamers mogen wel wat luxer voor de prijs die je betaald. Receptie hele tijd aan het zuchten vooral de Engels sprekende dames. Jammer dat men er meteen vanuit gaat dat iedereen een toerist is, en meteen in het Engels begint te praten. Duty manager loopt gewoon weg van de balie terwijl er iemand heen loopt. Ontbijt mager geen dienbladen meer aanwezig. Dames daar wel aardig.
