Lovely little hotel in a magnificent village
Long weekend exploring Amsterdam and North Holland by car. Check in was quick, room was clean, breakfast was delicious. I recommend this hotel as a great base for exploring if you're travelling by car, Marken was a wonderful, calm contrast to the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. Best of both worlds!

Hof Van Marken - well worth the visit
Quaint B&B experience. Wifi - perfect remote location but close enough to the city if you want that too. Wished I could have stayed longer and seen more of the area.

Great location
Marken is beautiful and a delight to visit. This hotel has a monopoly and offers good quality at a premium. Breakfast was excellent but pricey.

Good hotel but miles away from Amsterdam
Good hotel but in the middle of nowhere if you're visiting Amsterdam. It's really a B&B with a restaurant. Very helpful landlady. Marken, where the hotel is, is a quaint little place on the coast. Looks like something from a fairytale story. If you're after a nice peaceful location you could do worse. If you want to commute to Amsterdam it's more than 40 minutes away by bus and 65 euros away by taxi. A good solution would be to stay here and hire a car.

ひなびた漁村にある小さなホテル
マルケン島中心部にある唯一のホテル。港から路地を数メートル入った所にあり、バス停からは徒歩５～６分。土地のない場所に小さな家が身体を寄せ合うように建っているのがマルケン島の魅力。このホテルもふつうの民家と同じ。その狭い空間を機能的に利用している。設備は清潔だし何より窓から屋根ごしに見える港の眺めなど雰囲気は最高。但し、エレベーターはない。非常に急で狭い階段を利用することになる。スーツケースの上げ下げなどはオーナーとおぼしき男性がしてくれる。 このホテルの朝食はすばらしい。バイキング形式ではなく件の男性がサーブしてくれる。絞りたてのオレンジジュース、淹れたてのコーヒー。でも何よりも、彼が「トラウト」と言っていた人の顔大の燻製がすばらしかった。たっぷりのクリームが添えられていた。

Trevlig omtänksam personal med fantastiska frukost
Trevligt ställe mitt i härliga Marken! Nära till hav, promenader och små restauranger. Bra rum, smal brant trappa upp till rummen, inget för handikappade och äldre som har svårt att röra sig. Mycket bra frukost som serverades vid bordet i en trevlig bar/ restaurang på bottenvåningen där man också kunde hånet glas vin eller en kaffe på kvällen.

Kleines Hotel in purer Idylle
Super freundlicher Hotelier, der beim leckeren absolut empfehlenswerten Frühstück immer für einen Plausch zu haben ist. Der kleine Ort auf Marken ist beim Abendspaziergang schnell erkundet und kann im Hafen bei einem gemütlichen Absacker enden. Nach hektischen Tagen in Amsterdam City sind die 20 km außerhalb definitiv ein Genuss mit viel Ruhe und sehr netten, hilfsbereiten Menschen. Wir hatten unsere Fahrräder dabei und konnten somit auch abends mal auf dem Deich bis zum Leuchtturm fahren, was aber auch zu Fuß gut machbar ist. Das Hotel kann man mit dem Auto nicht erreichen, der Parkplatz (öffentlich) ist ca. 5 Min zu Fuß weg, aber wie gesagt, man kann es gut verstehen, damit die Ruhe und Idylle erhalten bleibt. Tipp: Außerhalb der A10 parken und mit den Rädern in die Stadt - sehr bequem möglich und kostenlos - auch die Fähre vor dem Hauptbahnhof.

Ein Super- Hotel auf einer Traum- Insel
Wir haben uns im einzigen Hotel auf der Insel sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, aber historisch- nett eingerichtet. Die Inhaber sind nett und besorgt zu ihren Gästen. Alles war völlig unkompliziert.

Localisation par GPS impossible avec mon équipement ; parking public (obligatoire) tarifé sans souplesse,(15h. = 2 jours, soit 10,20€). Situation géographique et hôtel lui-même dépaysants et authentiques, à conseiller. Hôtelier accueillant, (en français!), très disponible. Equipements en harmonie avec les lieux. Services sans reproches. Belle expérience.

Kleines, charmantes Hotel in einem zauberhaften Dorf nur ca. 20 Km entfernt von Amsterdam. Geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Top Service und sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Dejligt hotel kun 20 minutter fra Amsterdam
Dejligt hotel i den gamle bydel, og kun 20 minutters kørsel fra Amsterdam. Hotellet er beliggende i et meget naturskønt område.

Uniek plekje op bijzondere locatie
Aangenaam verrast! Persoonlijk sfeer en aandacht. Heel erg lekker eten en zeer uitgebreid ontbijt aan tafel geserveerd. Heel relaxed, dat is bijna nergens meer. Mooi eiland, heerlijk gewandeld naar de vuurtoren. Gaan zeker van de zomer nog ren Keer terug om te zwemmen en eten op terras.

soluzione romantica
la camera con vista lago era spaziosa e confortevole. Una cosa però non ho capito : come mai mi era stata confermata la prenotazione e successivamente mi è stato detto che per loro problemi organizzativi non era possibile confermarla dandomi l'alternativa . di un soggiorno in un bed and breakfast. A mie rimostranze l'albergatore mi ha risposto che i loro problemi erano stati risolti. Ottimo il servizio di ristorazione
